Brazi Bites have made me think about cheese bread in a whole new way. I had the chance to try Brazi Bites for the first time in October at the Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expo. Brazi Bites is a Brazilian cheese bread brand that is completely gluten free! These delicious balls of cheesiness are also soy free, peanut free, tree nut free, sugar free and trans-fat free.
There are 4 flavors: Cheddar & Parmesan, Garlic Asiago, Zesty Pepper Jack and Three Cheese Pizza. The main ingredient in all of the flavors is tapioca flour. Tapioca flour is made from cassava root which is amazing if you are gluten free, grain free or nut free. Secondary ingredients include eggs, cheese, milk and safflower oil. They are made in a dedicated gluten free facility and completely safe for those with celiac disease.
Not only are they delicious, but they are also super easy to make. I decided to make them tonight (while doing 12 other things) and it was so easy. I just preheated the oven and popped them in for 20 minutes and out came the fluffy balls. The Cheddar & Parmesan went as an amazing side to my grilled chicken and broccoli dinner. They also go great with soups and salads.
I was able to find the Cheddar & Parmesan at Costco in South Carolina in the jumbo bag and then the Cheddar & Parmesan and Garlic Asiago at Whole Foods in an 18 count bag. I will be going back to try the Garlic Asiago. I would love if they carried the club sized bag at my local BJ’s.
Check them out for yourself and let me know what you think!
